INTEGRAL PICOS DE EUROPA (THE THREE MASIFFS)

This is the most complete activity, more intense and that runs deeper into the corners of the three massifs, the three provinces and the ecosystems of the entire National Park.

Fluvial valleys where the Sella River offers an opportunity to see the salmon rising upstream. Canyons and gorges where the river is encased and so are we. Forests where we lose sight in its immensity and depth ... We will go across glacial valleys, moraines and glacial circuses, we will see pastures with their shepherds and sheepfolds where vertical transhumance to seasonal high pastures is still maintained, cattle of traditional breeds and the famous cheeses of the Picos de Europa are elaborated, we will dive into ancient forests where the oaks and beech hide a unique botanical community and singular fauna many times unique in the world. Always guided by our qualified guides, experts in nature, who will help you see and understand the fortune of being in such a place.

 

And it is here that we are in one of the select areas where the last brown bears of the Cantabrian Mountains live and breed. A place where it is possible to dawn with the song of the capercaillie, see during the day a lammergeier flying,  and make your hear stand on end at night hearing the howling wolves.
